Good day, my name is Corey Lablans. I am a student at Queen's University majoring in Geology and minoring in Geography. My love of geology stretches back to when I was a child, going on numerous field trips with my mom as a member of the Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club; we ventured into some unique places, finding some good specimens. 

Now 24, I have regained my love of geological exploration, going on many field trips, searching for nature's next hidden treasure. I would like to share what I come across and where I adventure to through this blog. I hopefully will learn a lot, as I venture forward on this journey.
